21-22/06/2026, GATHERING

Celebration & inauguration
on solstice June 21–June 22, midday–midday
It is an immense pleasure to invite you all to the inauguration and celebration of Fanefjord Fælled and the exhibition Fire, We Gather Around. An exhibition reflecting negotiations of solidarity, sharing, hosting and redistribution as they have emerged throughout the processes of Hosting Lands.
Across one day and one night, we invite you to join us for conversations in the landscape and amongst the permanent and temporary artworks, to enjoy bon fire rituals, readings, wool crafts, film screenings and collective meals – and to sleep under the open sky together in an ancient Greek healing temple.
Info
From noon, everyone is invited to spend time together in the landscape and in the exhibition. Curators, artists and neighbours can tell about Hosting Lands, the art pieces and the commons.
We will be wool spinning with Kultivator and wool weaving with Marianne Noer, we will light the fire, drink some tea and allow ourselves to settle together and share informal conversations, before we watch the film Cultivating Abundance by Åsa Sonjasdotter at 3PM.
At 5PM, PDAS serves a communal vegetarian dinner.
It costs 45 DKK for adults, and 25 for kids. Sign up latest June 15 by mobilepaying to På Den Anden Side #106430, please write the number of participants and bring your own plate and cutlery.
You are also welcome to bring your own food and beverages. The bar will be open too.
