2025 started with care work and expansion of communities, between species and thoughts. I have been invited to write a text piece, a little pamphlet, to the exhibition garden Hjortetakly; a troubled dream of an utopia. I'm writing a text about portals that guide us into utopias that exist parallel with hegemony.

Karin Hald is educated as an artist from Konsthögskolan in Malmö and as an author from Litterär Gestaltning. Hald's work departs from intersectional feminism through cross examinations between shame, hope, community and loneliness. In the latest years, she has explored questions around mental health and the potentials of healing. Queer perspectives on our entanglements with the world and how these potentials are constantly nuanced and destabilized, are continuous questions in Hald's practice.
