Simone Syska Andersen writes on the 2 day workshop that the girls at the RJK (Rädda jorden klubben, Save the Earth Club) conducted at Møn on 19th and 20th April 2024. Rädda Jorden Klubben (RJK) is a group of young climate justice activists who started organizing when they were 8 years old. They explore methods of artistic research, play, and civil disobedience for a better climate policy future in the midst of a sixth mass extinction. They visited Kunsthalle 44Møen and were making uniforms and badges for a socially just future!! They have also made lessons: 1) don’t be afraid to take space, 2) stay child forever, 3) protest if something is wrong,4) build the world you want, 5) become animal when it is hard to be human. As Simone writes, “It is a privilege learning and following the kids at Save the Earth Club.”
