Til Vægs is a platform that works site specifically within AKB Lundtoftegade in Nørrebro, Copenhagen – a housing area pressured by gentrification mechanism – via methods of methods of place guarding, social and environmental sustainability, open and democratic, long-term processes with resident members. Here Hosting Lands collaborates with artist Skye Jin around the project Gardening as Activism, and the artist-activist platform Til Vægs, on local workshops, long term residencies and co-learning sessions around themes of food, kitchen and garden as a community space, and resource sharing amongst the community’s many immigrant residents and stakeholders.
